My name is Sheryl. Because of an injury, I could not return to my job after twenty-five years of service, thus having to go on Social Security Disability. I could not afford Medicare part B, and didn’t qualify for Medicaid. I have multiple health problems and couldn’t afford to go and address my health issues at the doctor’s office on a regular basis. I was referred to Living Water Community Clinic in July 2022. Because of the excellent care that I have been receiving, my health is steadily improving. Everyone at the Clinic is very professional and very caring. They call and check on me and make sure I don’t run out of medication. They go over and beyond. I’m so blessed to have these wonderful people in my life. I love each and every one of them, and will never forget what they have done for me.
I was not able to get the surgery I needed because I did not have insurance. After the Clinic worked with me to get my blood pressure under control, and worked with Clinic partners, I was able to have my surgery. I’m doing well and am back to work. I could not have gotten this surgery without the help and care of this Clinic. All of the staff at the Clinic are caring and I’m so happy I came here. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Dan
Living Water truly provided a service to me that helped save my life. This is no exaggeration. Through the grace, compassion, and expertise of the Nurse Practitioners, Providers and Administrators of the Living Water Community Clinic, I was able to receive all the follow-up healthcare (after I was released from my 6-day hospital stay with a diagnosis of stage 4 liver disease) and referrals to GI specialists to treat my symptoms and disease. Through all of this stress, worry, and most importantly for myself, facing my own mortality, Living Water Community Clinic offered me expert care with zero judgement and full support. Through the grace of God and the call he put into the hearts of the volunteers at Living Water Community Clinic I am alive, fighting, and thriving through my chronic and life-long disease. I can only pray that others find the resource of this Clinic, and others to be called to support them in every way so that Living Water Community Clinic can continue to carry on the literally lifesaving work they provide. -Megan
My name is Rob,
I would like to thank those who run the Living Water Community Clinic and everyone who volunteers there. This clinic has helped me out alot. I had a hard time breathing at night. They treated me with respect and helped me alot. I can now breathe well & feel much better and I am starting to take care of myself.
The clinic made it all affordable on the low wages I make. I hope this clinic will be there in the future, not only for me, but for the many people who cannot afford doctors + medicine, even though we work everyday.
The mental health I have received through Rev Tom Schafer is outstanding, I have learned alot about myself—not to feel sorry for myself. It helps me—I wouldn’t keep coming back if it didn’t. Everyone takes their time to help me with & get nothing in return.
Your broad program has benefitted me—beyond what I could imagine. I appreciate Walmart for working with LWCC & helping me with my perscription. From the clinic I learned about the Food Pantry & next week the Lions are going to see if they can get me some glasses. I desperately need to see better to drive & do my work.
“Thanks alot for everything Living Water Community Clinic”
Robert
